The Fool must see through the Tempters offers as he attempts to assist him on his Journey, he embodies the lies and temptations both inside and around us. The Devil challenges you to determine your own values, stand up for what your Inner Voice is telling you, not to give in to lust and over identification with the material plane. The Devil is a deceitful adversary and always preys on your weaknesses, don't underestimate him. Learn to identify your weak points and recognise your addictions and bad habits so that you can work to overcome them. The Power of evil is strong in the world but just as the Fool comes to realise, no Power is stronger than the Power of Love, Listen to your Inner Voice, move ever closer to your Self and stick to the values of Love as you move away from tyranny, emotional blackmail and insatiable sexuality.
The Kabbalah suggests that the number 15 symbolises the struggle between Good and evil. Law and chaos. It can also symbolise the loss of free will and spiritual bankruptcy. It's also linked to the goddess Ishtar, ruler of war and sex. In the Kabbalah it also represents evil spirits.
As a soul friend the Devil will help you to identify your fears and limitations and in that way you'll be able to break free of the bondage and Power he holds over you. By doing this you'll be able to move away from material possessions and distractions, transcend through Love and truly become Enlightened...
